Using PicoLogger without PC connected

Post by PlastekGroup »

Is it possible to use the PicoLog 1012 without a PC connection? I have the terminal board but noticed there were no connections for power in (only power out). I would like to use the logger without a PC since the sensor I need to collect data from is too far out in a plant to be easily accessible.

Sorry, the 1012 needs a permanent connection to a PC for power, and to store data.

Ok I figured, thanks for the quick response! We may be able to work something out.

Hi Plastekgroup,

Maybe you could remote the sensor(s) and keep the logger near the PC, by using a twisted pair, as shown here below (description in 11 parts).
