connector issues

Post by joelnash »

We will likely embed an ADC-200/50 into our product. We will use the ADC-200 to monitor the voltage across a resistor. Everything will be mounted inside our enclosed chassis. What do we need to connect to the ADC-200 to the positive and negative sides of the resistor? Do I need oscilloscope type leads? What type of connectors are on the ADC-200?

Also, is the parallel port on the ADC-200 a DB25 male? Do you have a description of the parallel cable that you provide? How long is it? Is it DB25 male to DB25 female?

Thanks
Joel Nash

Hi Joel,

The ADC-200 has two BNC inputs (same as any conventional osilloscope), you can use osilloscope probes, or find / make up your own leads ... its entirely up to your own preference.

The ADC-200 uses a standard male to female all pins straight-through 25-way D connector cable. Hence the unit itself has a male connector. I believe the cable is about 1m long.
