DC voltage issue

Post by rpeters »

On my PicoScope 6, when I set up the AWG to output a DC voltage at 2V, the scope shows it's 200mV, not 2V. This is regardless of the position of the attenuator slide on the probe (X10 or X1). I checked the AWG output with a meter and it is in fact, 2V. What gives?

When the slide on the probe makes no difference then it is broken and stuck in the x10 mode.
When you go to the property's of chanal A then you can set that you have a x10 probe and the measurements will be correct.
I also suggest replace the defective probe.
