No values drawn on the graph after changing to 10s/div

Post by amartino »

Hi,
I just got the 2205A and have managed to run it on Ubuntu 16.04.
When the application starts the default resolution is 50us/div with 16kS.
Everything works ok up to 5s/div 16kS, however switching to 10s/div or higher
stops the graphing.

The application itself is still responsive so going to File->Connect device enables reselecting the device,
some relays in the scope click, and it's working again with 50us/div with 16kS.

The software and hardware versions in use are:
PicoScope® 6 - PC Oscilloscope software version: 6.11.13.3
Copyright © 1995-2016, Pico Technology Ltd.

Model: PicoScope 2205A
Serial Number: DV039/507
USB Version: 20.0
Calibration Date: Thursday, May 19, 2016
Hardware Version: 17
Driver Version: PS2000 Linux Driver, 2.1.6.5
Anybody has a workaround for this situation?

Hitesh

Hi amartino,

This looks like a bug, possibly related to the driver. I will report this to the Development Team.

What sort of signal are you looking to capture, how long for and at what sampling rate?

Thank for the reply.
Was just starting to explore the capabilities of the scope.

If there is additional feedback I can offer to assist in resolving the issue, do tell.
The Linux support was the candy why I got the scope :P
