Channel Order

Post by Guest »

Hi,

I am using two TC08s on a laptop running XP.

I have been though and named all of the chanels in the input screen.
But after editing, the order of the list on front panel GUI is reordered.

This makes for frustrating reading when I am not an expeirinece user.

I am now not sure that the channels are in the correct places.

Hello,

Can you confirm that you are using the latest version of the software, 5.14.4.

If this problem is still present if you have the updated version, please let me know.

Best regards,
Michael

I have a screen capture of the fault condition if required.

I can confrim I have version 5.14.4 as i downloaded the latest version to hopefuly correct some USB problems.

(These problems were related to the stability of the program when connecting and disconnecting the USB devices.)

For example I have just been to the laptop to get the version information and the screen capture. It seems that because i repalced one of the TC08's with a flash drive before i loaded PicoLog, the program skipped loading the recoder and loaded the player instead. (have noticed this a few times).

Hello,

Please post your screenshot if you have one.

Also, the PicoLog Player will only start if you either select it from the start menu or if PicoLog recorder is already running. If Recorder is running but is not visible, it will be located in the taskbar. Look for the PL logo next to the clock.

I will look into the channel allocation problem for you.

Best regards,
Michael

Here is the screen shot.

Note the differing orders of cahnel names between the TC08 channel window and the recorder window.

"edit"

Can't see the screen shot, but can see it on a preview of this message.
Does it take time to filter?

Hello,

I have managed to reproduce this error. I have passed this to the software development team for investigation.

Many Thanks.

Would be very interested to see if the actual chanels are being renamed, or if they are reordered.

Hello,

If the channel may change, the actual names will remain the same.
