2204 AWG stopping procedure

Post by uFeri »

Hi forum members,

I'm fighting with a strange thing in LabView: I use from the latest stable Pico SDK the PS2000_Block llb, where the waveform generator works in same time with the measuring part ( standard oscilloscope on one channel ). I want to stop the signal generation ( I use own AWG file ) at the end of the block mode measuring mode, this function works in the PicoScope application: see the image bellow.

With the "Signal On" checkbox ( on the user interface window from PicoScope 6 software ) the user can stop the waveform generator, right at the end of the capture process, that would be nice to know with which function it is possible to do it.

The ps2000_stop API function is sampling related so probably exist a separate function in the ps2000.dll to stop the AWG, please share with me this information!

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

There is no way to control the Signal Gen/AWG output. The only you can do is set the Signal Gen to 0v DC output.
This is what PicoScope 6 app does. The ps2000_stop function is only for stopping during a capture.
