Measuring relative humidity with HumidiProbe

Post by axel »

Hi,

Is the HumidiProbe only intendet to use in large rooms or can it be used in smaller containers also?

We are interested in measuring the relative humidity in a humidified gas flow (air) of about 5-500 ml/min. Do you think it will be possible to accomodate the tip of the measuring probe in a small container of about 200-500 ml to measure the humidity of the gas flow?

Axel

Hello Axel,

Thank you for your post.

You can use the HumidiProbe with large or small rooms.

What is the temperature of the gas flow? The HumidiProbe has a limited temperature range and a slightly slower sensing time.

Providing the enviromentals are within range, there should be no problem.

Best regards,
Michael

Thank you for your fast reply!

The temperature of the gas flow will be in the range of 40-60 degC...

Hello,

The temperature range of the HumidiProbe is 0 to 70 °C.

Well within the range you require.

Best regards,
Michael
