spikes in triangle from functiongenerator of Picoscope 4262

Post by egonotto »

Hello,

since few days i have an used Picoscope 4262. It almost as new beside it has only 3 legs :).

I try the build in functiongenerator and see a strange behavior of the triangle waveform. Sometimes there are spikes.

Insofar i know, this spikes comes not on sine wave and comes not on arbitrary wave.

Therefore this is only a dispensable problem.
Perhaps it is an exercise in advanced trigger :)

Kind regards
egonotto

Hi egonotto,

I have been able to reproduce the issue here and have reported it to the Development Team for investigation.

I tested with both PicoScope 6.11.12.1692 and PicoScope 6 Beta 6.12.1.1691 and found that after a few captures the spikes will disappear unless you change any signal generator settings.

Hi Hitesh,

thanks for your answer.

My 4262 has the spikes in triangle on and off also after hours.

But it is not fatal, for one can use the arbitrary mode to get an
undisturbed triangel signal

Best regards

Hi egonotto,

The issue has been fixed and should be available via the next release of the PicoScope 6 Beta software.
