Sampling rate and ANY trigger for 3424

Post by optotest »

We are planning to use the 3424 in a save to disk on trigger mode.
a) is the 5MS/s still applicable for 4 channels
b) can we trigger such that if ANY of the 4 channels drops 40 counts it dumps before and after data to disk?
c) we develop in DELPHI, what is the streaming sampling rate through USB with no missing data?

Thanks

Hello,

I shall answer your questions in order.

A) The maximum sampling rate for four channels will be 5Ms/Sec.
B) This will be possible but currently only with custom software.
C) Streaming rates will vary from machine to machine. Streaming modes do not support trigger functions. YOu will need to use block mode sampling.

Best regards,
Michael

Hello,

By custome software I mean a custom Windows application. We provide 32bit dll files for our hardware allowing you to form a completely unique application.
