Some Q on ADC100 100K

Post by Stone »

Hi,

I have a few questions on ADC100 100K, could you pls help to answer? as I decide whether to buy it or not.

1) As I want to use it to test the tube amplifier, and the output voltage may reach 100Vp-p. Is it OK?

2) In the spec, it stated that the input ranges 50mV to 20V in 9 ranges, so how can I measure a high voltage output?

3) Is the max measurable input frequency is 50KHz? so it's 50Khz oscilloscope?

THanks!

Hello,

The ADC100 unit has a ±20V input range max. For measuring higher voltages, you will need an attenuated probe. If you are measuring mains voltages, we advise using a differential input probe.

The scope has a 50KHz bandwidth.

Although this unit is still available, I suggest you consider one of our newer USB2.0 oscilloscopes. These newer scopes represent value for money alongside a more recent design and build.
