PLW Recorder minimise disappearance

Postby _NigelH » Thu Nov 05, 2015 12:02 pm

When using the Windows minimise button for a running PLW Recorder, the System tray icon disappears and the process is gone from the Task Manager. The application is still running in the background as any subsequent launch of PLW32.exe opens a PLW Player.
The PLW Recorder can be recovered via the system tray hidden icons rather than resorting to a reboot, however, I would like to know if this is a known problem or something with out installed software. The effect has been seen on two different types of laptop, both running Windows 8.1

Look forward to comments.

It is intended for the program to minimize to the hidden system tray, this helps prevent accidental closure during long logging sessions on a machine that is used for other tasks. It should still be present in TaskManager as plw32.exe
