We have a PicoScope 4423-19 and are trying to use it with the Windows Software PicoScope 6. When going to connect to the device we get a red exclamation mark that says,
The selected device is not supported by this version of PicoScope 6.
We are using software version 6.10.16.2 on Windows 7 operating system.
The 4423-19 is not a standard 4423 scope and as such is not able to work with the standard software. It should have been supplied with the correct software.
The 3424 model is not automotive scope and hence will not work with Picoscope automotive versions of the software.
You can use the main test and measurement version - picoscope 6 with this scope - https://www.picotech.com/downloads/_lightbox/PicoScope6
PS - Standard Automotive models (3223, 3423, 4223, 4423 4225, 4425)will work with both versions of the software including Picodiagnostics.
Also as Martyn said the 4423-19 and scope models with the extra -XX digits are OEM models and will only work the OEM version of the software supplied with the scope.
hello, I'm using old 4423 automotive scope.
I was testing one circuit with windows Picoscope 6 program and found out that triggering in REPEAT mode was working only 3 to 5 times total of 20 trials.
But pico automotive works without problems with success 20/20 fast tests.
Is this normal or should they work similar way in both programs ?
I prefer Picoscope 6 because of its Linux version, even it is missing a lot, probes + math channels , etc ..
