Trouble installing pico 6 automotive

Postby Joller79 » Mon Oct 19, 2015 4:02 pm

I just bough a asus t100 hybrid laptop, that can detach the keypad, thought it could be great fun with my pico 4225 automotive.
BUT when i try to install, it cancels right at the end, where the statusbar writes something like. Registrating programs. And then goes backwards and removes the shortcuts and everything...
The wierd thing is, that it instals pico 6 ( non automotive) just fine?? But it will not regocnice the automotive scope. So that is no good.

Please help??
The laptop is running the real windows version, i even tryed to upgrade to win 10, same issue.. It's running fine on my other laptop, both win 8.1 and 10.

Asus support says it's something with the programming of the program itself?? Guess they might be right, as the ordinary pico 6 installs just fine.

Laptop asus t100t. 32 bit (x64 based processor) intel atom cpu z3740. 1.33 Ghz.
with now. Win10. Fully updated, totally clean install. 64 Gb harddisk, 26gb free.
2Gb ram(1.89 ussable).

Thanks in advance.

I see from our automotive forum that you were able to resolve this by disabling bitlocker.
