Suggest USB to CAT5 Adaptor

Post by mikeblack »

Hi

We are looking at using two Pico 4824's in a remote location.

We would like to use a Tripp-Lite USB to CAT5 extender hub so we can run the pico's from a distance.

Our efforts with the Tripp-Lite USB2.0 over CAT5 extender hub (B203 series) do not work. We see the pico's in the device manager but we cannot connect either through API or with the software.

Is there a recommended solution to allow us to communicate at range via CAT5 or other wired means?

Best wishes

Mike Black

Hi Mike,

Please see this post-

We have tested this device over both Wifi and ethernet connections.
See the attached setup instructions.
