Datalogger to record event duration and upload to Excel

Post by cpp01rem »

Hi,

I would like to know what sort of portable hand-held dataloggers are available that behave like a stopwatch with a memory to store individual event durations - in the same way as lap-times (not split times). The data logger then needs to be able to connect to a PC to upload the memory into a format that can be put into Excel with each event having its start and finish time displayed as a separate record entry.

The sensor in this case would be a simple switch (start timer - stop timer). I would need to store the duration of about 300 events between uploads. The time would have to be accurate to the nearest second. The events being timed will be discrete and sequential so only 1 input line is needed.

thanks

Hello,

Our data loggers and acquisition devices are PC based and require connection to a PC for operation.

I do not believe that we offer a product that meets your specific requirements.

Best regards,
Michael
