pressure sensor display

Post by magleopold@yahoo.com.au »

Hello,

I am interested in setting up someting to measure pressure on my laptop or PC. I have the following pressure transdusers to choose from: 0 - 10V or 4 - 20 mA to measure 0 - 600 bar.
I would like to have digits as well as a graph displayed.
Which sensor should used - Volt or mA?
Further, whitch data loger / software; for 1 channel application or
for up to 4 channel applications

How can I convert a 0 -10V or a 4- 20mA output from a pressure transduser to pressure units ( Bar , Kpa , Psi ).
Thank you in advance for answering these questions for me.

Kind regards,

Leopold M.

Hello,

Either way would suffice for outputs. Our USB ADC20 High Resolution Data Logger may be a suitable product if you are looking for a data logger. The PS 2202 is another possibility if you are looking for an oscilloscope and data logger.

ADC20 20 bit resolution, 8 channels(4 differential)
PS2202 8 bit resolution, 2 channel

Best regards,
Michael

hello

I'm mohamed ali
I wase interrested in thes connections in my project
I can only answer you on the transformation process
it can be done by calibrating your pressure transduser by aknown
pressure value from avessel for example, and observing the value of the
electrical signal from the transduser
