Picoscope 5000 series output

Post by rebk »

Hi all, We are working in Pulsed Power field in our laboratory. I am not familiar with Picoscope and its digitalization process but as I watched some youtube videos and tutorials Picoscope 5000 series seems good for digitizer part of our research. What we are going to do is:
Input our pulsed generator output signal into Picoscope and convert it to digital value. Then send this converted digital value to our FPGA using output of Picoscope. I have two main questions and would really appreciate any instructions.
1- Is above process possible (Sending converted digital value to output of Picoscope) if yes, How we can estimate the delay, how long this process takes?
2- Is modification possible on the converted value? I mean not only observation of signal either modify the converted signal and send it to output?

Thank you in advance for any ideas, comments and instructions.

As discussed via email, there is no way to gain access to the data you require. The digitized data is only available after it has been passed to the driver on the PC.
