Scope not detected!

Post by BHolmes »

I'm running (or trying to run) the 3204 unit and having some problems with getting windows (2000)to recognise it.

Sometimes when I plug it in recognises the device as PicoScope 3000 under device manager. Then other times when I attempt to plug the unit in it is not recognised as the scope (showing as just a USB Device with exclamation device.)

More often than not the unit is NOT detected. I have also tried this on XP and still have problems!

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

We have had other users comment that they have had problems with their USB cables. Try using a different USB cable and/or use the supplied PSU.

If this continues, pleas contact us direct at: support@picotech.com

Hello,

You must go to the USB root hub in the Windows Device Manager and go to the Power Management tab.

Best regards,
Michael
