As my custom range inverts polarity i.e. -5000mv = 3V, I have to invert trig value and edge too.

However, doing so the scrolling stops at the right time but the signal seems displayed too late (2 sec.) !
I'm in 10s/div.

Any advice ?

TIA,

Philippe

Continuing the subject...

Even with no polarity inversion the trigger is quite difficult to force !
Once upon the time, it trigs but most of the time it doesn't see the edge...

The real edge is a very sharp 0 to -2V (before scaling) drop.

Hi

Thank you for your post.

Does using some pre-trigger help? Try setting the trigger value to -10% and see if this helps.

Also check and see what mode you are in because it could be running in block mode, in which case it is collecting the data in blocks before downloading it. Try using some other modes and see if this helps.

Let me know how you get on.

Best Regards

Thanks !

I'm already in -10%, Standard mode :-(

For the failing trig I will try AllowEarlyTrigger=Yes !

Then I inform you of the status of both problems

Hello, again...

The AllowEarlyTrigger seems to ensure triggering !

It seems that in version 5.13.1 trying to inverse the signal by using custom ranges allows the inverted display but causes problems with the trigger...
