The Tools menu is empty

Post by pvh1987 »

I just got my new PicoScope 5444B a few days ago and so far I am quite happy with it. I used it to do some serial decoding the other day on my Windows computer and today I wanted to do the same on my Mac OS X laptop. However, the Tools menu is empty except for "Preferences". Is this supposed to be that way? I just want to know if I have a problem with my computer or if the features are yet to be implemented?

By the way, it would be very nice if some coloured identifier rings could be supplied for the probes :-)

Thanks in advance :-)

These features have not been implemented yet. Achieving feature parity between the Windows, Linux, and MAC versions is the objective although this will take time.

We have just released a beta version of the Windows software which has improved serial decoding, due to a number of issues reported by customers, with this step being necessary before any thoughts of adding the support into the other software versions.

Thanks for your reply. I have set up a Windows PC for my scope now. :)
