Equipment Compatibility

Post by deltaP »

Hello,

I have the following differential pressure transmitter (https://www.honeywellprocess.com/librar ... -03-65.pdf - page 5 model STD-930). Would the ADC-20 data logger be compatible? I would want to monitor and log temperature also.

Thanks for your help.

If you are looking at measuring temperature as well I would suggest the USB TC-08, https://www.picotech.com/data-logger/tc ... ata-logger with the single channel terminal board to measure the pressure (4-20mA)

Thanks Martyn. I have a TC-08 that I could use. But I thought the ADC-20 would be able to do it all. Also, single channel terminal board? In previous apparatus, I've used an ADC-20 to measure T and P. So you are saying that the delta P unit I own is compatible?

The unit you linked to produces a 4-20mA signal so could be fed directly into the single channel terminal board, which plugs into one of the thermocouple slot on the TC08s. This is the simplest solution.

Using the ADC20 would require additional circuitry, which you would have to purchase and assemble.

Martyn,

Thanks for the response. I did not know that, and it is certainly a very cost effective alternative.
