meaurments do not match cursor

Post by richhutchins »

Hello,
I am using an ADC-212/100 on a PIII win2K laptop. When measuring DC voltages after doing the offset null procedure, the cursor measurment is dead on accurate with a hand held Fluke 87 meter.

When I use the DC Voltage measurment from the menu, I get different results. They are close, but not correct. I wonder why there is a difference between the measured DC and the cursor display measurment?

Hi,

The cursors are approximations of the actual readings, simply because we don't know how many readings there are per pixel (the fluke knows this because it has a standard size of screen). We are working on a way to make the cursor readings more attuned to what the user expects in a future version of the software.

Best Regards,
