Hi,

I have some problems using the programs picoscope and picolog.
The programs freezes after just a few seconds. What to do?

Hi

Thank you for your post, I am sorry to hear you've been seeing problems.

Try using the unit with the power adaptor and seeing if this helps. It may be that the USB is not quite supplying enough power to the scope.

Hope this helps

Hi,

Thanks for the reply

It was a hardware problem on the computer, so the problem is now solved, but i have another problem. Can i change the offset to null in picolog? Now the starting value is about -50 mV.

best regards

Hi

Thank you for your post.

What sort of hardware problem did you see? If possible we would appreciate any information you can provide for our future reference.

There are a couple of ways to do an offset null in Picolog. You could scale the reading so that it always adjusted for the offset. You could also create a calculated parameter which effectively did the same. There is as such no offset null function like there is in Picoscope as you can set Picolog to do this maths yourself.

Hope this helps

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

It was my computer that were causing the problem, not the picoscope 3204.

I do my analysis in excel and i force the offset to null in excel, so that is no longer a problem.

I will try to make the same calculation in picolog.

Thanks
