Problem to detect picoscope 6404D
Hi,
I have just to buy PICOSCOPE 6404D, but after installing Mono and Picoscope for MacOSX, the software don't detect the scope on the USB. This is the configuration of my laptop :

Hello Fabrice,
Is there a listing for the device under USB in your System Information?
You should be able to access this by clicking the Apple logo, selecting 'About my Mac' and selecting 'More Info', or search for System Profiler on your Mac.
Is the PicoScope 6404D powered, and have you tested it on a Windows based PC?

Hi Fabrice,
Could you please confirm which version of PicoScope 6 you are using (click Help -> About PicoScope 6...).
Also, start PicoScope 6 with the PicoScope 6404D connected, then close it down after waiting for 1 minute when it does not find the device.
Next, locate the trace.xml file:
In the Mac Terminal Window type
There should be a folder called 260a68f1-c314-451b-830f-0a5e01d65514/
Please send the trace.xml file contained in there to support@picotech.com

Hi Fabrice,
It's possible that your VM could be locking onto the USB ports preventing the PicoScope 6404F from being detected when you start PicoScope 6.
You may wish to check your VM settings.
