ADC10

Post by Frosty »

I have had my ADC10 for about 20 years and as you know most laptops & PC's no longer have parallel ports :( can I use a Parallel to USB Converter to use my ADC10? Any comments welcome.

Hi Frosty,

If you are using a desktop PC, please refer to the following post:

http://www.picotech.com/support/post42463.html#p42463

If you are using a laptop you can try the following:

For laptops with an Express card slot:-
http://www.delock.com/produkte/gruppen/ ... 66220.html

For laptops with a PCMCIA card slot:-
http://www.delock.com/produkte/gruppen/ ... 61612.html

In either case, a parallel port adaptor that is only for parallel port printers will not be suitable - the adaptor should have drivers supplied with it.

Please note that Pico Technology parallel port products are not suitable with 64-bit operating systems.

I hope this helps.
