DelPHI drivers

Post by j_norrie »

Hi Everyone, I have been using picotech products since the old DOS days and still do. I have been asked to upgrade the hardware and modify the software for a system fitted in 2002 using adc11 parallel port version. Th unit ran using DELPHI 4 and has been great. Now I need to upgrade the hardware with as little software changes as possible. Which units with min of 8 channels of voltage input ( 0-5vdc )preferred and a reasonable sample speed can I use that has dephi drivers?

cheers in advance

Hello John,

Based on your specifications, the PicoLog 1000 Series devices would be the closest match, although they have a 0 to +2.5V input so the input voltage would have to be scaled:

http://www.picotech.com/multi-channel-daq.html

There is the 10-bit 12 channel PicoLog 1012, and the 12-bit 16 channel PicoLog 1216.

Unfortunately, we do not have Delphi examples for this device. However, it should be possible to create the necessary files based on the examples provided for the ADC-11.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
