Can we see the AWG output on the screen ?

Post by pom256 »

Hi, I'm just get my new pico and I want to use it to mesure phase shift in an audio amplifier. I want to use the awg to generate the signal and use one channel to see the amplifier output. Can I see the AWG output on the screen without wasting a scope channel ? Because I have to check point to see in the same time already.

If it's not actually possible, this feature could be add in the next software version ?

Thanks

Hi Patrick,

At the moment it is not possible to see the AWG output live without using a channel.

I will add this to the new feature list,
But I am unable to give you time scale as to when or if this would be implemented.

Kind Regards,

Karunen,

If this is added, it would really be useful to be able to trigger on the AWG

Hi all,

After some further discussion with development,
we discovered if implemented it would take up as much bandwidth as sampling a channel.

So unfortunately this feature is not justifiable.

Karuren,

Thanks for the reply and the explanation.

Much appreciated that it is not just left hanging.
