Storing 100,000,000 samples to a file

Post by timorley »

Hi,

I'm using a picoscope 5244B to capture a waveform with up to 100,000,000 samples.
I would like to be able to read this data into my own software.
A csv file would be huge (and picscope limits a csv file to around 1,000,000 samples anyway)

I can store the waveform to a .psdata file, but I don't know the details of this format.
Can you give me the details of the .psdata format?

Thanks,
Tim

Hi timorley,

We recommend saving to the MATLAB 4 format. This is an open binary format:
