Picoscope USB streaming with linux

Post by robertolulli »

Dear all,
I need to use Picoscope as an acquisition board. What is the maximum sample rate that I can archieve with USB 3.0 models (3207 A/B). My application use only one channel, I have no problems with CPU load and I don't need to connect any other device to USB BUS.

Regards,

Roberto Lulli

There is no set answer to this, it will depend upon the PC specification, how the USB3 is connected within the system (motherboard/PCIe), and system load.

We have seen from 80MS/s through to 180MS/s on lightly loaded Windows PC's using the same test code, so I would expect a similar range on Linux.
