Scaling/editing the Spectrum Analyzer vertical axis

Post by nearboston »

I am making measurements on a random vibration excitation using an accelerometer, current source and an Pico 2203 USB in Spectrum Analyzer mode.

I would like to have the vertical Axis display in units related directly to vibration, preferably GRMS^2 / Hz.

Is there a way to edit the parameters to display something other than dB?

The generic way to change the scale would be to create a custom probe, Tools->Custom Probes, for your specific setup and then change the Spectrum Options->Scale to linear not logarithmic

Please note that it may not be possible to create an equation for the example you specify.
