Color Printing

Post by Niklas »

http://www.picotech.com/picoscope6-oscilloscope.html offers professional printouts:
"PicoScope features both colour printing and a black and white printing mode. With just the click of a button you can produce high–quality printouts of your waveforms."

Which bottom must I click?
I can print black and white only!

Thanks for answering.
Best wishes

Hi Niklas,

This might be a bug in the software which will need investigation.

The workaround is to print to a pdf file or MS OneNote if it is installed, or click 'Edit -> Copy Entire Window As Image' and paste the image into a 3rd party application.

I hope this helps,

Hi Hitesh,

thanks for your advice. You are right:
Save as / Datatype = *.pdf / select current waveform only
generates a print sheet with all printing preferences.

Best wishes

I cannot print in color either (R6.7.28). Is this still being investigated? Thanks.

Hello,

Is this issue ongoing? I am running 6.7.35.1 on windows 7 64, I am running on desktop and laptop but have the same issue. When I print in colour or save as pdf I get a colour print except for the waveforms which are in monochrome. Picoscope logo and my company logo are in colour as they should be.

Regards

Matt.

Hi Martyn,

Waveforms appear in monochrome in the print preview also. I did get one instance where the waveforms appeared in colour on the print preview but I have not had it since. The waveforms that appeared in colour on the print preview printed in mono despite the colour preview.

As I have already said, the picoscope logo and my company logo appear in colour and print in colour.

Regards,

Matt.

This has been fixed in the beta branch, R6.8.3 and later, which will become the standard release branch shortly. This can be downloaded from http://labs.picotech.com/#psw6 and will install alongside the standard release.

Just updated to 6.7.40.3 and now lost colour on print preview and print. Tried the beta 6.8.3 link above (23 Dec 2013)
but it says no beta versions are available. How can I fix my colour print problem?

The beta version has been updated to 6.8.6 and can now be found on the main website as a release candidate version.

Thanks Martyn.
I'm on 6.8.6.9 now. Colour print restored and it has also fixed the problem of the serial decoding line being misplaced on print , which was my original reason for updating.
