Total Power Calculation for particular frequency band

Post by rakeshvec »

Hi All,
Picoscope : 4424 Series
Software : Picoscope 6

In spectrum mode is it possible to catch 100 kHz to 500 kHz using frequency coupling mode?
or
in using AC coupling(in spectrum Mode) is it possible to get total power between 100 kHz to 400 kHz instead of whole trace?

I need only measurements for 100 kHz to 400 kHz band only. How can i achieve this using Picoscope?

can any one suggest me on above as i am newbie to picoscope.

Thanks in advance

It is not possible to obtain the total power or signal to noise ratio over a limited bandwidth. They can only be calculated over the full width of the screen.

You will need an external hardware filter on the input of the PicoScope.
