4262 for vibration and rotor bar analysis

Post by VicC »

Hello,
We are considering various options for performing rotor bar analysis on larger horsepower motors. We would like to be able to obtain the rotating speed via accelerometer. Would then hope to perform current dB analysis using slip speed and number of motor poles versus 60 hertz current (or other if an adjustable frequency drive is controlling frequency supplied to the motor). It appears that the 4262 has enough dB range to perform the job. Any comments would be appreciated.
