PicoScope 3000a - Pico not Found error

Post by Dwho2000 »

Ever time i try to run lab view i get the following error:
While loading PicoScopr3000aExampleAWG.vi, Labview reported 3 warnings
Dependency loaded from new path (3 warnings affecting 6 callers).

If i say ignore error. Then i get a error 5003 occurred at ps3000aOpenUnit
Possible reason(s) Pico_Not_Found

I'm fairly new with using this so any help is grateful
Model using: 3206B
Files where downloaded to desktop.

Hi DWho2000,

LabVIEW will search for files that it cannot find. Rather than ignore the error, please confirm that LabVIEW has found the files that it needs.

Have you got PicoScope 6 or another instance of LabVIEW running in the background? Please check the Device Manager in Windows to confirm that the device has been found.

Hi! I continuously get the same error code ( PICO_NOT_FOUND) when I am trying to access my PicoScope 2205A from an ATEasy application. ps2000_open_unit() returns 0. But if I use picoscope 6 software, the device works fine.

What seems to be the problem? I am using Windows 7 Pro 32-bit.

Please help me! It's urgent!!!

Is the device being used by another process?

Is the PicoScope.exe still running in the Windows Task Manager? If so, please end the process and try again.

Hi,

i also have a very similar Problem please help me!!

same Error Message in Labview - 5003 PICO NOT FOUND

I got the PicoScope 3206B and i copied the .llb and .dll Files from the PS3000asdk into my Labview 2013 user.lib directory.
When im running the PicoScope3000aExampleBlock.vi the error occurs.

No Picoscope Software is running in the background.
Also NI Max cant find the device, but the Windows Device Manager finds it.

Thank you very much for helping!

Hi JosefM,

Have you tried placing the dll files in the Resource directory as per the video in the following post?
