Removing DRDaq

Post by Sharpie »

Hi, I'm attempting to completely uninstall Picoscope 6.7.35.1 from a Windows 7 Pro laptop.

The reason is that I previously had a DrDaq USB installed on this laptop, using as a scope (so that is the third channel). I've removed the DrDaq USB from the laptop, plugged in 4424 and it still thinks it has a DrDaq. It comes up with Channel 3 enabled, all other channels disabled and the output is "stepped". I've had the 4424 working fine before and since on other PCs/laptops and it is functioning just fine.

So, I've tried uninstalling Picoscope, reinstalling the latest version from the website but it still thinks a DrDaq is there.

How do I completely remove any trace of the DrDaq? Or is there a simpler solution.

Regards,

Sharpie

Go to the folder

C:\Users\{yourloginname}\AppData\Local\Pico Technology

and remove all the sub folders you find there, they will get repopulated when you re run the software.
