Rapid triggering number of events incomplete and storage

Post by lenkoop »

Is there a method for storing data from an incomplete number of events when using rapid trigger mode on a 6404B? If you set the number to 20 events and get less, may you still store and view what is in the buffer? This is not an issue in repeat trigger mode.

There is currently no method to retrieve data from the scope during a rapid block run, interaction between the scope and the driver is kept to a minimum to enable the fastest possible re-arming of the trigger between buffers.

If you force the scope to stop acquisition during a rapid sequence, can you download the data from the events that have been stored up to that point?

Unfortunately not in the present driver implementation.
