PicoScope 6 crash with 200ms/div and digital channels

Post by oholsen »

Showing D0-D5 at up to 100ms/div works fine. 200ms/div crashes.

Hi oholsen,

This looks like a bug for which I will submit a bug report.

No crash report was generated on my PC but if there is one generated on yours please choose the option to send it directly to us (preferred) or e-mail it to support@picotech.com

Thanks,

Hitesh

Hi oholsen,

It seems that there may be some sort of issue with collecting data in streaming mode from the digital channels.

As a workaround, you can either collect the data in block mode at 200ms/div by changing the Collection Time to something like 1s/div or turn off the analogue channels if not required.

To change the transition timebase at which the scope changes from Block mode to streaming mode, click Tools -> Preferences and select the Sampling Tab. Then change the collection time.

I hope this helps.
