Introduction

Post by targetpin »

My name is Mark and I am using Picologger ADC-20 for a long term project to monitor the earth’s magnetic field. Monitoring the output of a three axis fluxgate aligned to true north. Also the declination of the earth’s field and temperature of the test room. Would be great if there was a tangent function so the inclination and declination could be calculated and displayed in real time. I am looking forward to the next few years as solar cycle 24 will reach its peak.

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the forum :D

The PicoLog software does support MS Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) so you can view data values in MS Excel. I have attached an example below - perhaps you can use the Tangent calculation function in this?
DDE PicoLog (multi chn) - ADC-20.xls
Multiple channel DDE example

Open the file while the PicoLog Recorder software is running.

Hope this helps.
