Toolbar in USBDrDAQ

Post by Lôôh »

Hi

I have started a signal generator which has changed the toolbar.
How can I get out again to get the previous setup back?

Which version of the software are you using ? Go to Help->About and post the text

Can you post some screen shots showing the changes you are seeing as this does not sound correct.

Hi there

I use PicoScope6_r6_6_57 right now.
Earlier it worked fine. Plugging in the device it is seen by Windows but Windows wants to install it while this was done over and over before. The red LED burns but is not flashing as before which probably means there is no communication. The PicoScope screen looks like attachment. The sinewave is a 1 kHz which is probably the signal generator setting I opened last time I used it. I thought it would dissappear when I switch off the signal generator but I cant find how. So I am desperate now.

Can you navigate to C:\Users\YourLogin\AppData\Local\Pico Technology and remove all the xml files you find in the sub directories.

Hi

I removed:
preferences.xml
trace.xml
Restarting the program gave a new installation sequence but all went fine: it works again.
Thanks a lot!
I really don't understand what went wrong.

Regards

Somehow the settings file had become corrupted and the program was opening in demo mode.

It's working now :) so hopefully no more problems
