4 ch scope 10MS streaming mode.

Post by bennog »

At the moment I have a 4224 scope. But I need more chanels.
So a 4424 would be the logical choice, but I also want differential inputs. (CAN and RS485/422)
And streaming mode at 10MS.

maby 3425 USB-Based Differential Oscilloscope, but the streaming specification is not given on theis scope.

Please help.

For the 3425 the maximum sampling rate, using block mode, is

20MS/s for 1 channel
10MS/s for 2 channels
5MS/s for 3 or 4 channels

You could use differential probes with a 4424 as an alternative approach.

For information if you are using the PicoScope software there is a streaming limit of 1MS/s in R6.6.x releases, and up to 10MS/s for 1 channel in R6.7.x releases. If you write your own applications the streaming rate will be dependent upon the PC.
