6403B sampling rate

Post by micka »

Hi all,

I just buy a 6403B PicoScope (for my job)
I bought because of its high deep memory.

but i don't understand. :
with a 100ms/div time base :
With one channel activated the sampling announced (by picoscope 6) is 156MS/s
With 2 channels, it is down to 78.13MS/s.
It does not fulfill the memory of 512MS.

If i use 1 channels the sampling is 156Ms/s for 100ms/div and 78.13MS/s for 200ms/div.

I precise that the buffer size is set to 512MS and i set the buffer controls to 2.

CAn someone help me ?

Thank you

To use the full memory you have to use a single trigger within Picoscope. When using repeat, auto or none for the trigger the memory is split to provide buffering of data on the scope.
