I haven't had time to build drivers as yet but will hopefully do so soon as we have some additional staff in the support department :)

Hi, Martyn.

I'm tring to use PicoScope3206A on Ubuntu, and I have some problem using it.

As mentiond before, the sample program "PS3000Acon.c" does not work right on new Ubuntu distributions(12.04 & 12.10). I also tested on Ubuntu 11.10 and got same problem: segmentation fault at "BlockDataHandler()".

README file says that the sample program has been tested on Ubuntu 11.04, but Ubuntu 11.04 does not have libstdc++6-4.6(or later) package which is nesseary for installing PS3000A driver.(this is weird)
So I manually installed libstdc++6-4.6.1 and installed the driver, compiled the sample program on Ubuntu 11.04.

And I got the same situation (seg-fault at BlockDataHandler()) even on Ubuntu 11.04. I just want to know the precise information for using PicoScope3206A on Ubuntu(or other Linux distributions).

Thanks.

I am going to try and build the 3000a drivers in the next few days, they have changed a bit recently, with added support for additional device, so it may not be a straightforward handle turning exercise. Once complete I will check for this seg fault.
