How can I know the triggered time of a channel?

Post by skyerfree »

I want to measure the time delay of two channel in Picoscope 2205. Channel A generates signal, and Channel B receives it.
The question is:
1). Can the channel only send out several cycles of wave, say, 5 cycles of sine wave?
2). How can I know the channel B is triggered? How to get the time when the Channel B is triggered?

Thanks.

HI,

Do you mean a signal that is being generated is put on channel A (and a device) and a signal that comes out of some Device is sending out a signal is going onto channel B?

When you say can the channel send out several cycles of a wave, do you mean the signal generator? You cannot do this in PicoScope 6 as when the signal generator is switched on it will keep on sending the signal until it is switched off.

Right click on the Picoscope display and "View Properties" will give you the Capture Date/Time for the capture showing on the screen
