.DLL file running on WindowsXP

Post by Mayez »

This is a following up question from my post.

I'm wondering if I've to change something on ADC20032.DLL when I change the system from Windows98 to WindowsXP. This is because I've found that the program which is used to run well on Windows98 system doesn't work on WindowsXP. What happens is when the ADC216 is asked to take the data with adc_run function the led flashed but the data getting from its memory looks always the same eventhough the pulse's changed.

My assumption is possibly the memory in ADC216 doesn't really take the reading, which might be because there's some conflicts on the function in .DLL file running on XP eg. the compatibility.

Do you have any idea?

Thanks for every comments.

Hi,

The driver that is used by Windows XP and Windows 98 is the same one. However, the system drivers are different and need to be installed onto the computer. On your Windows XP operating system, have you installed Picoscope/Picolog. Once installed test the unit with one of these two applications. Then try your program again.

Best regards,
