Math Channel Display

Post by boespflu »

When adding a custom Math Channel, the default y-axis display is in Scientific Notation (such as +/- 500x10^-3). Is there a way to change this to scaled fixed format (such as +/- 0.5) or even preferably a auto-scaled fixed format, or even SI notation (+/- 500m)? this seems simple, but I just cannot find it. Many thanks.

Have you tried "Override automatic range selection" in the Math Channel wizzard ?

Yes, but that does not work. It still defaults to scientific notation when zooming or scaling into smaller amplitude signals, it will only stay when in that y-axis range. Even if it did work, I would have to edit the math channel every time my amplitude changed.

I will pass your comments on to the development team for consideration for a future release, it is not currently possible to fix this when zooming or scaling small signals at present
