Plugins ?

Post by pyroesp »

Hi everyone,
New to the forum and I'm hoping this is the right place to ask :).

I've been using the PicoScope software for the past two years or so.
Lately I have been playing around with some remote controls (RC5 / NEC protocol) and I thought it would be awesome to have a feature to allow a user of PicoScope to run a little plugin.

I'd love to be able to instantly decode the data I'm receiving from the remote controls !
Now, I'm stuck to pause the scope and manually decode each bit... :/

Sorry if this (plugin feature) has already been asked before.

Anyways, great program, great scopes. I like it.

BR,

We do have a number of decodes supported by our software and the list is steadily growing. RC5/NEC has not been asked for yet so I will add it to the list although there are no guarantees on time scales for when/if this will be implemented, there are so many other things on the feature wish list.

Thanks Martyn.
Is there a list where I can see which features are going to be released ?

New features will arrive in the Beta release software which you can download and install alongside the standard release versions http://labs.picotech.com/#psw6

We don't have a published list of what is in the pipeline as this is company confidential
