AWG not at 0V when plugged

Post by Guillaume »

Hi,

I have 2 picoscope 4227. I am surprised that the AWG has an 1.7V DC output when it is plugged to the PC by USB (both device). It set back to 0V when I run the software. Is there any reason for having this DC output ?

My AWG is to make some electrophoresis...so it happens to ruined my sample just because I shut down the soft and let the electrodes plugged several hours...and so I discovered the DC output...

Best regards

Hitesh

Hi Guillaume,

This is a feature of the oscilloscope hardware and would require some further investigation to see if it is possible to limit/suppress this output.

In the meantime, I would suggest disconnecting the device from your equipment until it has been connected to by the software.

Regards,
