Picoscope V6.6.23RC crashes on probe setup

Post by MeridenJohn »

I can crash PicoScope repeatedly selecting a probe....

I am using V6.6.23 (RC) on Win XP (latest updates) on an older laptop.
I have a custom probe in the library (nothing special, just a current transducer.

If I follow the steps below I can case a fatal error repeatedly, every time:

- Start Picoscope
- CH A / open probe dropdown
- Select the custom probe (in my case it is CL50)
- Click box to activate filter
- as soon as I try to change the filter from the default 1k, the program experiences a fatal error.

If in the above sequence, if I allow the probe dropdown to close after I select CL50. Then reopen to set the filter, all is OK.

Can you confirm that this happens with Channel A and if possible post a log file for this crash.

Your trace file is showing Channel B which is a known issue and a fix is currently being tested.
