Measuring Between the rulers
I have been looking at a video signal and triggering on the back porch signal between video lines, I get a nice stable view of a video line.
I would like to measure the AC voltage on the active video line, so I am doing a True RMS measure between the rulers. However as the measurement doesn’t change when presented with a black image or a live video image I suspect there is a problem with the measurement. I have switched measurement from “between the rulers” to full trace and the measurement doesn’t change.
Can I ask if there is an issue with measuring between the rulers on this version of the software??
PS I am a long time user of scopes and picoscopes and the picoscope software upto version 5, however have limited experience of version 6.
