pH and external temperature sensor

Post by Liquid »

Hi,

According to the DrDAQ Data Logger User Guide, DrDAQ uses the internal temperature sensor to compensate for temperature changes when dealing with readings from the pH electrode.

I plan to use DrDAQ to read the pH of a volume of water much cooler than the ambient temperature and I intend to connect to DrDAQ an external temperature sensor from the water.

Can I configure DrDAQ to use the reading from the external temperature sensor, NOT that of the internal sensor, when dealing with pH reading?

If so, how would I go about doing that?

Thanks.

Hi yes if you use the external sensor, the DD100 it will use that as temperature compensation.

Kind regards
